About the role

We're looking for a Financial Analyst to partner closely with our CEO and CFO on 13-week cash flow modeling, budgeting, monthly financial reporting, and data analysis. This is a role for someone who's hungry to grow and ready to take on more responsibility as they prove themselves. You'll work across the entire company, so strong communication (spoken, written, and in front of a room) is a must.

Lalo is a modern family brand designing thoughtfully made products that support families through the earliest stages of life. We are a fast-growing, design-driven company where ideas move quickly and ownership matters. Our work balances creativity with operational rigor to build high-quality products through close collaboration, high standards, and a shared commitment to doing our work well. We're building out our Miami-based finance team and looking for an organized, growth-minded Financial Analyst to help us get there. We have big goals, and this role will be foundational to how we manage growth going forward.

What you'll do

  • Own financial budgeting, planning, and reporting, and support strategic business decisions through analysis
  • Compare sales forecasts to actuals and build reporting that helps division heads see what's working
  • Pull data from multiple analytics tools and turn it into reporting that drives sales and flags issues before they become problems
  • Become a "Super User" of our systems, helping manage processes and procedures company-wide
  • Partner with planning to analyze inventory and sales trends and keep inventory levels right-sized
  • Evaluate profit and cost efficiencies across the organization
  • Track expenses against budget and dig into what's driving variances
  • Prepare monthly management reports with clear, useful commentary
  • Run sales and profitability analysis
  • Help build detailed financial presentations for our Board of Directors
  • Support financial planning for opex, capex, headcount, and project spend

Who you are

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in Consumer Products or DTC
  • Solid grounding in corporate budgeting and financial analysis
  • Advanced Excel skills, plus comfort using AI tools in your day-to-day work
  • The ability to juggle multiple projects without dropping the ball
  • Excellent communication skills: personable, but able to hold your ground when it counts
  • A love of fast-paced, dynamic environments
